Automation.com is an online resource for industrial, process and factory automation; machine, motion and process control; and instrumentation professionals. Automation.com is owned and operated by Automation Resources, Inc., the same company that operates automationtechies.com, a recruiting and contract staffing services group.
Automation.com was originally launched March 1st of 2000 as automationtechies.com, a job board focused on industrial automation and process control positions. Soon after our launch, we realized that there was a significant need for a more comprehensive industrial automation resource site. We immediately began publishing industry news, product showcase, articles and white papers, application stories and other resources. The site also hosts directories of automation product suppliers, systems integrators and machine and equipment manufacturers.
In September of 2004, we purchased the www.automation.com domain and trademark and moved all the content from automationtechies.com to Automation.com. The automationtechies name and web site name are still used for our recruiting and contract staffing services. To date, Automation.com is the most frequented automation-related web site for industrial automation and process control professionals.
In 2006, Automation.com launched a series of Product Portals that organize content by topic. Each portal hosts product announcements, company news, articles, white papers, application stories, resources, literature, training, seminars and events. In conjunction with these portals, we publish a number of topical e-newsletters to help keep busy automation professionals up-to-date on the latest information on various automation topics.
Our entire team is committed to you, our audience and advertisers! Your support as a subscriber and/or advertiser ensures our continued growth and prominence as a leading online destination for the industrial automation, process control, and instrumentation industries. If you have any thoughts on how we can better serve you, please contact us. Thank you for visiting Automation.com!
