(Cincinnati, Ohio – 3/29/2007) - The eAutomation Group of Advantech introduces the AIMB-250 and 251, two RoHS compliant industrial mini-ITX motherboards featuring low power design with six USB 2.0 and four COM ports integrated in a standard 170 x 170 mm form factor.
The AIMB-250 is equipped with an Intel 82855GME chipset and supports 1.8 GHz Intel Pentium M and 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron M processors. There’s a 400 MHz front side bus and up to 1 GB of DDR 266/333 SDRAM.
The AIMB-251 is equipped with an Intel 82852GM chipset and includes an onboard 600 MHz ultra low voltage Intel Celeron processor. There’s a 400 MHz front side bus and up to 1 GB of DDR 200/266 SDRAM.
Both come with expandability in CompactFlash, PCI, and Mini PCI buses. The four COM ports, six USB ports, and 16-bit GPIO enable easy integration and a single 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet port delivers high-speed networking.
With Intel’s integrated Extreme Graphics 2 controller, both feature 3D graphics and video capability with up to 64 MB of graphics memory. They both support dual display types, such as CRT+LVDS, DVI/TV-Out +LVDS or CRT+DVI with TV-out via s-video/composite video connections. All video output is complemented by 5.1 channel audio for complete audio/vision solution.
The AIMB-250 and 251 are available for purchase directly from Advantech or from an Advantech authorized dealer.
