Research Triangle Park, NC – March 29, 2007 - WBF announced the final agenda and details for the WBF 2007 North American Conference, held in Baltimore, Maryland, April 30 - May 3 at the Tremont Grand Conference Center. The three day program includes educational and inspiring presentations by industry leaders from over 15 companies, including Bristol Myers-Squibb, GE, Lilly, Honeywell, Siemens and Genentech. Attendees will also benefit from instructor-led tutorials on ISA-88, ISA-95 and B2MML, and technical presentations focusing on ISA-88 and 95 applications, implementing a standards-based approach, batch models, and emerging technologies.
The 2007 Keynote Speakers are Dr. Paul McKenzie, Vice President and General Manager - LSCC at Bristol Myers-Squibb and Walter Boyes, Editor-in-Chief at CONTROL magazine.
The program also includes a lively, thought provoking Editorial Panel presenting on the theme, "Getting Automation Out of the Manufacturing Closet and Into the Enterprise." The distinguished editorial panel consists of such notables as Nancy Bartels (Managing Editor, CONTROL), Mark Hoske (Editor In Chief, Control Engineering), and Gary Mintchell (Editor In Chief, Automation World). The panel will discuss pertinent automation and manufacturing industry issues such as success in an environment of limited budgets; changing technologies and global competition; manufacturing and the enterprise; and ownership of information.
A finalized version of the conference program with session descriptions is now available for viewing online and shows a three day schedule with topics that include: "Applying ISA-95 as an Analysis Tool," "Batch Data Analysis," and "Industrial Wireless - A WINA Reality Check."
