June 5, 2007 - SIXNET has printed its twenty-second edition of their free product CD, covering its entire line of Industrial Connectivity and Automation products.
Key features of the new CD include SIXNET's latest innovations, the Etherbus Series of Industrial PoE (Power over Ethernet) Products. This series includes PoE Switches, PoE Injectors, PoE Splitters, DC to DC Power converters, as well as Kevlar Ethernet cable and IP67 Connectors. As a true fieldbus, Etherbus combines all the advantages of Ethernet (speed and openness) with power in the same cable to simplify system wiring, reduce maintenance time and save you money. At the heart of Etherbus are standard Ethernet (802.3) and PoE (802.3af) making it truly open.
All new software is available on the CD, including v3.9 of the IPm firmware for SIXNET RTUs and controllers. Version 3.2 of the SIXNET I/O Toolkit is provided, as well as updated utilities for Ethernet switches.
The CD contains full information about SIXNET dataloggers, modems, I/O, switches, and device servers documented in technical notes, user manuals, datasheets, online help, and more.
