Command Tooling releases ER16 & ER32 Collet Chucks
RAMSEY, MN - June 13, 2007 - Command Tooling Systems’ comprehensive line of High Precision products, including the ER16 & ER32 Collet Chucks, are available for BT, V-Flange and HSK63A & HSK100 tapers.

Command’s High Precision Collet Chucks are built to advanced specifications, providing lower tool and product costs due to longer tool life and reduced setup time. The reinforced chuck body and clamping nut deliver exceptional stability, and the ground trapezoidal thread ensures absolute centering of the clamping nut on the chuck. The result is extremely high concentricity, repeatability and runout of ≤ 3µ with tighter production tolerances and better surface finish.

“Command’s High Precision Collet Chucks are perfect for close tolerance applications,” states Dennis King, Director of Engineering. “The clamping torque of the high precision chucks is unmatched in conventional collet chucks, resulting in unsurpassed finished products.”

A range of collet sizes are available for the ER16 & ER32, from 1-20 mm and 0.125-0.750". A coolant seal is included to allow use of coolant-fed tooling and to prevent chips and swarf from entering the collet cavity.

Command Tooling Systems, the leading Toolholder manufacturer, produces products for high-precision machining operations in numerous industries, including automotive, aerospace, computer, defense, electronic, job shop and medical equipment. Command is committed to providing tooling solutions of the highest quality, with immediate availability.
