The new intrinsically safe WM-Ex product line is available with FM Class I, Div 1 approval and uses the known PSU power supply. The availability of fast, compact, rugged and precise intrinsically-safe weighing modules with up to 0.1mg resolution and internal calibration is absolutely unique in the market. The MODULO product lines WM, WM-Ex, WMH and WMH-Ex now represent a consistent offering for standard and hazardous areas and provide state-of-the-art solutions for a number of new applications for which no solution could be offered by METTLER TOLEDO in the past.
The Automated Precision Weighing (APW) portfolio, including WM, WM-Ex, WMH and WMH-Ex offer the same functionality, the same interface commands and cover weight ranges from 120g up to 3,000 kg with resolutions down to 0.1mg. These features, coupled with the rugged, compact stainless steel housing, overload protection and wash-down options make the APW a great addition to any automated weighing process. These robust units can also connect directly to PCs or PLCs via serial connection or a number of fieldbuses.
