July 11, 2007 - Ashland, MA - Schaefer, Inc. has expanded its family of pure sine wave inverters with the new AEP-U3000R-110x Series of highly efficient and reliable 3KVA rackmount products with 110VDC input. The AEP-U3000R pure sine inverters offer benefits over modified or quasi-sine wave units by delivering "clean" output power for improved efficiency ideal for powering sensitive loads and heavily inductive loads.
The AEP-U3000R Series is available in five standard input configurations of 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, 110VDC and 220VDC. Outputs are available in 115 or 230VAC 50/60Hz versions, which are regulated to ±2% or better. A built-in UPS mode allows toggling of priority and control of a 4-6ms automatic bypass switch to allow for redundant operation from utility power if the DC or AC supply drops out.
All models in the AEP-U3000R Series feature comprehensive protection circuitry and a digital display to monitor/indicate input undervoltage, short circuit, input overvoltage, over temperature, overload and low battery. The display also indicates voltage, amperage, power, temperature and UPS status. Efficiency runs about 90 - 92% with a 110VDC input. Operating temperature is -30 to +60°C. EMI is minimized for reduced impact on other sensitive equipment.
The compact, rackmount design is rugged and ideal for industrial, satellite, military, computer, recreational, marine and general backup power applications. The slim size of 17.12" x 16.69"(19" rack) x 3.48" (d x w x h) fits easily into low-profile (2U) racks.
Schaefer's full family of pure sine wave inverters also includes modules starting at 230W of power, along with higher power parallel configurable 4-in-1 units that include a UPS, inverter battery charger, solar charger and configurable contactors .
Modifications to standard units are available. In addition, Schaefer can design and manufacture fully custom solutions. AEP-U3000R pricing is from $1964.00 at 100 pieces, with significant OEM quantity discounts. Delivery is stock to 8 weeks ARO.
