July 13, 2007 - TWINSBURG, OH Pepperl+Fuchs introduces Dura-Vue DF12 series color sensors. These sensors can be taught to recognize three independent colors with a single sensor. Programming is quick and easy via a potentiometer setting at the sensor, or by a remote teach signal from a PLC. The Dura-Vue DF12 series features a harsh-duty, metal-framed housing with swivel connector ideal for sorting, positioning, and quality control in packaging and converting applications.
Each of the sensor's three channels can be taught to detect even minute color variations, with varying degrees of tolerance as selected by the user. Each output simplifies wiring by automatically sinking or sourcing current based on its connected load.
Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
