July 19, 2007 - Quantum Devices Inc. Barneveld WI. has developed a sealed housing for their QD145 line of encoders. The housing boasts a split clamshell like design that allows for easy access to shaft mounting. Dual O-rings seal the encoder inside the housing, and seal the housing against the encoder mounting surface providing a robust IP66 seal. Standard 30 degree rotary adjustment is still provided along a 1.812 Bolt Circle Mount.
