LIVERMORE, Calif. - July 24, 2007 - Adept Technology signed an exclusive agreement with Buenos Aires Technology to distribute the company's full product line in Argentina. At the same time the company announced the receipt of the first direct customer order from Argentina for a high speed robotic packaging line for specialty candies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Buenos Aires Technology will be the exclusive distributor for Adept's complete portfolio of robotics, controls, vision and software products, including the innovative Adept Quattro s650 packaging robot throughout Argentina. The candy packaging line will use the high speed Adept Cobra s800 robots and the compact Adept SmartController platform with integrated vision and conveyor tracking, to individually pack specialty chocolates.
