July 26, 2007 - Simplex Conveyor LLC has introduced the MDR Docksider, a single stage extendable conveyor designed for the loading and unloading of packages in high throughput environments. The Dockside is available in a 6'-6" & 9"-0" extension and includes bi-directional flow and the use of Motor Driven Roller technology.
All Docksiders are shipped ready to run once positioned and anchored by merely plugging it into any standard 110V AC outlet. Dual Operator Controls and Reversing are standard on all units. For uni-directional operation, the reversing switch cover plates can be secured at the factory. To restore the bi-directional operation, simply remove the securing device from the switch cover plates.
The Docksider combines the versatility of a belted conveyor with the advantages of MDR Technology. This unit has a 5’ long belted entry section with the remaining rollers coated.
Being a self contained 110 volt plug-in unit, the MDR Docksider can be adapted to be fully portable for use at more than one location.
Options include: 2 Roller Transfer, Roller Brake, Run on Demand, Coated Rollers, Heavier Gauge Rollers and Slider Section Side Guards.
