Phoenix Contact releases BLUEMARK marker printer
August 16, 2007 - MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The new BLUEMARK printer from Phoenix Contact uses ultraviolet (UV) technology to print markers for terminal blocks, conductors, devices and other equipment quickly and easily. Using this proven printing process, the BLUEMARK delivers non-smearing, non-smudging markers that are resistant to harsh chemicals and environments. With an output of up to 10,000 markers an hour, the BLUEMARK is the fastest printer in the industry.

The liquid plastic-based ink and UV curing process mean that all marking is permanent and immediately usable, so no drying time is needed. Along with a USB interface, the BLUEMARK is network-compatible via Ethernet, or wirelessly controlled using Bluetooth, making it ideal for use in manufacturing and value-added locations.

The new CLIP PROJECT advanced planning and marking software runs the BLUEMARK and all other Phoenix Contact printers and plotters. An on-screen graphic interface allows users to quickly and easily set up and align the printer. Easy-to-use interfaces make it possible to import marking files from Excel or text files.

Phoenix Contact is a world leader in electrical connection, electronic interface and industrial automation technologies.
