Phoenix, New York - August 20, 2007 – Fulton Machinery released the Vacuum Roll Assembly, designed to eliminate dangerous in-running nips that can produce and iron in web wrinkles. Simple to integrate and designed to isolate tension anywhere in a machine, this vacuum roll is capable of up to 5 PLI tension isolation capacity at 180 degree wrap, regardless of web width.
Vacuum Roll Assembly is offered complete with anti-friction pillow block bearings, vacuum rotary union, flex hose, 5 HP blower with exhaust and mounting stand. The unit contains no deckles or nips and offers simple maintenance free operation.
The precision machined drilled and ground shell has a nickel plated OD and incorporates an external grooving pattern with drilled holes.
Fulton Machinery focuses on the modification and integration of new components into existing process and machine lines to enhance performance and add new capabilities.
