FOXBORO, MASSACHUSETTS USA - August 21, 2007 - Invensys Process Systems will have three asset management experts speaking at the 2007 National Manufacturing Week conference, being held September 24-27, 2007 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL. Juan Collados, Neil Cooper and Curtis Wilson will deliver presentations on Tuesday, September 25, 1:00pm - 4:00pm (Session 208).

Juan P. Collados, Asset Condition & Performance Manager with the Avantis unit of Invensys, will explore the critical success factors that drive reduced costs, and improve the availability and overall reliability of critical assets. His presentation, "Asset Performance Management and Condition Monitoring," will encompass a wide variety of assets and techniques that apply both to the instrumentation and device layer, as well as process components and plant equipment systems.

Also in this session, Neil Cooper, vice president, Asset Performance Management Solutions, with Invensys Process Systems, will provide an overview of an effective approach to Asset Performance Management (APM). His presentation, "The Road to Asset Performance Management," will also address the challenge, the methodology, the processes and the tools required to deliver the full potential of APM.

In the third presentation, "Six Sigma for the Asset Maintenance Organization," Curtis Wilson, Six Sigma Black Belt, with Avantis, will detail the main methodologies of Six Sigma, which are Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC), as they apply to the maintenance organization. While there is a strong dependence on flexible Enterprise Asset Management, Process Control, and other data management systems, Six Sigma will not replace these systems. It will utilize and add to them by providing additional benefit recognition from the systematic investment already made.
