Siemens releases SITRANS remote digital displays
ATLANTA, Sept. 13, 2007 - Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. today announced the release of the SITRANS RD100 and RD200 universal remote digital displays. These displays enable users to view and access measurement data from a remote location. Easy to set up and program, these displays can be used with all types of field instruments in varying process conditions.

SITRANS RD100 is a 2-wire, loop-powered remote digital display. Easy setup with a simple 2-step configuration allows for quick servicing without interruption of the loop. The date is easy to read on a one-inch high LCD display. With its NEMA 4X IP67 enclosure, the SITRANS RD100 has FM and CSA approvals for use in hazardous environments. Key applications of the RD100 include displaying the process variables for level, flow, pressure, temperature and weighing applications, in a 4 to 20 mA loop.

SITRANS RD200 is a universal input, panel-mount, remote display for process instrumentation. It accepts universal inputs, including current, voltage, thermocouple and Resistance Temperature Device (RTD) signals. Two optional relays can be used for alarm indication and process control applications.

Key applications of the RD200 include tank farms, pump alternation control, local or remote display of level, temperature, flow, pressure and weighing instrument values, PC monitoring and data logging with RD Software.
