Sensor Developments develops Torque Sensor
September 14, 2007 - These sensors are designed to measure rotating torque of equipment that utilizes square drive interfaces. Monitor fastening applications that use nut runners or pneumatic wrenches, this design’s square drive interface allows for quick attachment to the equipment. Accurately measure torque and angle in a single sensor. Large capacities now available from 5000in-lbs to 20,000in-lbs (565 to 2259kN), in addition to our standard torque ranges available from 50in-lbs to 2400in-lbs (5.6 to 271N-m). Angular measurement is achieved with a 1024ppr optical encoder (standard capacities), and 1500ppr optical encoder for large capacities.

All sensors include an ISO-17025 accredited calibration certificate.
