October 3, 2007 - The Wireless Sensor Module (WSeM) is approximately the same size as 2 pennies end to end. It contains an analog to digital converter/filter, an on-board processor, and 802.11 wireless communication capability all on one printed circuit board. It can accommodate up to four different sensor inputs.

The WSeM is simple to implement into an existing product or incorporate into new product designs. The ease of implementation is due to the complete development package that consists of configuration tools, sensor reference designs and full communications protocols. It is ready to communicate to existing access points, PCs, PLCs and more. It also includes tools that allow the customer to retrofit a wired or wireless sensor product very quickly.

The company has partnered with two high profile companies to develop the WSeM; GainSpan Corporation is a technology leader and innovator of Wi-Fiƒnsemiconductor and software solutions that provide years of battery life for sensors and other devices. "We are pleased to partner with Oceana Sensor in bringing Wi-Fi sensor solutions to the market place," said Vijay Parmar, President & CEO of GainSpan Corporation. "Oceana has the experience and strategic vision to expertly and quickly deliver products that will enable customers to deploy Wi-Fi sensor solutions for cost and energy savings and improved operational efficiency."

Quickfilter Technologies Inc. offers a family of mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) for signal conditioning and digital signal processing / filtering for applications including consumer audio, automotive, industrial control, medical, homeland security and many more.

These partnerships have allowed Oceana Sensor to reach its goal of providing wireless sensor solutions in a component form factor. Single point sensors can be effectively and efficiently manufactured and deployed. Our customers do not have to integrate various electronic parts and a radio to create wireless sensor products. The WSeM is a drop-in replacement for a wired sensor thus reducing time to market of wireless sensor products.

About Oceana Sensor
Oceana Sensor, an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, is a high volume manufacturer of OEM targeted sensors and a developer of Wireless e-Diagnostics which are smart, network capable, wireless sensor systems that feature the Intelligent Component Health Monitor, or ICHM, Wireless Single Point Accelerometer, Wireless Single Point Sensing Node, and several other Wireless Single Point Sensor designs. Wireless e-Diagnostics applications include machinery monitoring, active vibration control, seismic monitoring, process control, impact detection and structural acoustics. WSeM expands our market focus to building automation, medical applications and process monitoring.

About Gainspan
GainSpan is a technology innovator and leader in Wi-Fi semiconductor and software solutions that provide years of battery life for sensors and other connected devices. GainSpan brings Wi-Fi sensor networks to life with breakthrough technology that fully leverages the ubiquitous Wi-Fi infrastructure and enables Wi-Fi devices to run up to 10 years on an AA battery. GainSpan¡¦s semiconductor and software technologies enable people to save money, save energy and work smarter.

About Quickfilter Technologies
Quickfilter Technologies, Inc utilizes patented and pending techniques for implementing a programmable IC that allows an engineer to design a custom circuit for signal processing without the cost and complexity of programming a DSP. Quickfilter Technologies Inc. is a private equity funded fabless semiconductor company founded in 2003 by Bob Silco and located in Allen, Texas. The company is developing a family of programmable mixed-signal integrated circuits that convert noisy analog signals into clean, usable digital signals.
