Lanner launches IAC-F850 SBC with Core 2 Duo processors
(Taipei, Taiwan – October 16, 2007) Lanner Electronics announced the PICMG 1.0 compliant IAC-F850 SBC, based on the Intel 82945G chipset, and offering support for the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

The IAC-F850 features the Intel GMA 950 graphics controller, and supports dual independent displays. Customers may select between DVI or LVDS+TV-out modules, making the entire system adaptable to a range of multimedia applications. The CPU card also supports dual 10/100/1000Mbps LAN, 4 SATA II hard drives, 8-bit digital I/O, 8 USB 2.0 devices, 2 COM ports and a Mini-PCI expansion socket.

IAC-F850 Features:
  • Supports Intel Core 2 Duo, Dual Core Pentium 4/D
  • Intel 82945G chipset with FSB 533/800/1066MHz and Hyper-Threading
  • Two DIMM up to 2GB DDR2 400/533/667 Non-ECC SDRAM
  • Integrated graphics subsystem, VGA SDVO dual display via optional DVI or LVDS / TV-out
  • Dual Intel 82573L 10/100/1000Mbps LAN
  • 4 SATA II, 8-bit digital I/O,8 USB 2.0, 2 COM
  • Type I/II CF, Mini-PCI socket
  • PICMG 1.0 Compliant

    The IAC-F850 is compatible with Lanner's entire range of PICMG 1.0 backplanes and corresponding chassis.

    Further to the IAC-F850, Lanner will introduce a PICMG 1.3 compliant full-size SBC later in Q4. Based on the same high-performance Intel 945G +ICH7 chipset, this new SBC is designed to provide greater bandwidth for future proofing next generation industrial applications.

    The IAC-F850 is available for immediate evaluation with sample quantities expected to ship in November.
