| Zaber lengthens T-LLS motorized dovetail slide |

Richmond, BC, Canada – Oct 19, 2007 - Zaber’s LLS915 dovetail slide is a 915mm travel version of its T-LLS series of computer controlled motorized dovetail slides, and is Zaber’s longest travel motorized dovetail slide to date. The T-LLS series now includes linear slides with travels ranging from 105mm to 915mm. Zaber’s standard dovetail slides offer 0.16 um resolution at speeds up to 6mm/s. Custom leadscrew configurations may be requested to achieve higher speeds at the expense of positioning resolution.
The LLS915 requires an external motor controller. Zaber recommends their T-CD series of stepper motor controllers. These controllers may be daisy chained with other Zaber devices and connected to a single USB or RS232 serial port on any computer. Demo software for a variety of programming environments is available for free download from the Zaber website.
