HYRobotics introduces Supersize Robot for injection molding
October 21, 2007 - NEXIA Supersize has double arm support structure for descent arm, 2X telescopic for low ceiling plants, and high speed/robust operation. Its main components are 3 AC servo motors, driver, 90 deg chuck rotation, timing belt and pulley mechanism, and linear motion guide.

It also comes with a 5.7 inch touch screen for flexible teaching and programming, an interface box with Red/Blue Bright LEDs, and 8 user inputs/ 8 user outputs for secondary automation. Touch screen provides Manual, Step, and Auto functions and easy I/O checking.

If the mold has a complicated shape which requires motion in the side of mold, the operator can add a position in the mold, move robot arm with servo jog button, and save. This will create another robot step. Up to 80 operational steps and 99 mold programs can be stored.

A balanced up/down cylinder minimizes motor stress for longer life cycle time. , body attached air reservoir tank for regulated air pressure control and easy maintenance with steel ladder on back side of robots. Applications include appliance (Large size LCD), automotive (Bumper) and material handling (Plastics Pallet) plastics injection molding.
