ASI expands PTC push-in jumpers
October 22, 2007 - Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect announces that the push in jumper system has now been incorporated into the design of several product lines, including terminal blocks, relays, and fuse and disconnect terminal blocks.

The PTC push-in jumpers, which come in as few as two positions or as many as 50 positions was first designed to be used with a basic control wiring terminal block. Based on feedback from our customers, we developed this more flexible, lower cost jumper system to combat the high cost of one of the most popular accessories used in circuit wiring, circuit bridges or jumpers. The concept has quickly been expanded to be used in terminal blocks rated from 24 amps to 57 amps making this an ideal system for power distribution.

The PTC low-cost bridge system has since been designed into our 6mm wide DIN rail mounted relay system, the CK family. The CK family of relays features both electro-mechanical and solid state relays, comes in either one or two relays in 6mm of space and now you can easily jumper the commons to reduce wiring costs by using the PTC bridge system.

Most recently we have announced that the PTC low-cost jumper system can be used with our double level terminal blocks, our fuse and disconnect terminal blocks and with both our single level and double level pluggable connector terminal blocks. Finally, this same very flexible bridging system has been incorporated into the complete line of spring clamp terminal blocks. Using this system in any one of these newly designed product lines allows the customer to jumper adjacent terminal blocks or skip over blocks in any desired combination based on the application.
