Taipei, Taiwan, October 24, 2007 - AXIOMTEK launched a high performance 1U rackmount network server barebone, the AX61123TM, which is powered by Intel Core2 Duo processor. Compatible with ATX form factor motherboards, the AX61123TM comes with an off-the-shelf LGA775 socket Intel Core2 Duo ATX motherboard and has a built-in riser card with one free PCI slot for expansion. With dual-channel DDR2 technology, this network server barebone has very scalable memory architecture enabling a high bandwidth of DDR2 677/800MHz up to 8GB memory. Additionally, the system supports two high speed SATA II HDDs for data mirroring to provide data redundancy and increase fault tolerance. The AX61123TM is an ideal solution for mail sever, firewall, ISP, telecommunications, and more.

This industrial barebone unit supports a 270W ATX power supply, and the efficient cooling system keeps this network server chassis away from over heated. Furthermore, it comes with rich I/O features from the standard form factor ATX motherboard include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four high speed USB 2.0 ports, two PS/2 (keyboard and mouse), Audio, one COM port, one CRT connector, and one parallel port.
The super slim AX61123TM is RoHS compliance and will be available around the early November, 2007.
