October 28, 2007 - TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduced AS-Interface Flat-to-M12 adapter cables. These M12 adapters are available in straight or 90º M12 head angles with single or dual flat cable configurations in lengths of 0.3m, 1m, 2m or 5m.
Flat cable is a significant feature of AS-Interface, and these cable accessories greatly simplify and speed the connection of I/O devices such as intelligent sensors, emergency stop switches and modules to AS-Interface. They also facilitate the simple connection of junction boxes and panels to the trunk line, as well as power supplies and AS-Interface scanners to the bus.
