October 29, 2007 - Aaxeon released Devolinx line of one and two port Serial to Ethernet and Serial to Wifi Device Servers.
The Devolinx line includes 1 and 2 port RS-232/422/485 to Ethernet models with options for DIN Rail mounting. Also in the product family is an RS-232/422/485 to 802.11b/g Device Server with advanced WPA/TKIP security. All models support a web interface for configuration and come with the Virtual COM software free of charge.
Because of the popularity of Ethernet in such markets as Automation, Transportation, and POS, more and more customers are looking to put their legacy Serial devices on to their Ethernet network. Because of their ease of use and configuration, and reliable operation, we are sure that the Devolinx Device Servers will meet the needs of our device networking customers.
The new line of Devolinx Serial to Ethernet Device Servers are expected to be available mid November 2007.
