Edmonton, Canada, Dec. 9, 2007 - OPC Training Institute (OPCTI), the world's largest OPC training provider, and Software Toolbox, a leading provider of software components to manufacturing end users, system integrators, and OEMs, have announced a strategic partnership.
Software Toolbox is endorsing the OPCTI's training programs for users, integrators, and OEMs seeking to become more knowledgeable users of OPC products. To help support OPC training, Software Toolbox is providing software resources for use during the hands-on classes. As well, Software Toolbox will work with their customer to get them the OPC training they may need to realize the full potential of OPC technology.
OPC is an industrial connectivity standard that enables process control and manufacturing applications to communicate with each other using an interoperable, reliable and secure connection. Interoperability is apparent due to support by over 3,000 companies with well over 15,000 unique OPC applications.
