ITT enhances Cm2 Series servomotor connectors
SANTA ANA, Calif. - December 26, 2007 - ITT Interconnect Solutions now offers its Cm2 Series servomotor connectors with an extended voltage range. Providing maximum power in a minimal package size, the connectors feature a voltage range from 48VAC to 630VAC, making them suitable for both low and high power applications.

Designed as a replacement for two mated pairs of circular connectors, the robust Cm2 Series devices are half the length and weight of conventional circular connectors. The connector design enables simple harnessing and easy contact assembly. The connectors feature crimp contacts, excellent vibration resistance and are completely shielded and sealed, including two sealed entries for power and signal cables.

The Cm2 Series connectors are ideal for small servomotors applications such as industrial motion control, robotics, factory automation and material handling.

With one power and two signal connectors housed in the same package, current rating for the Cm2 Series servomotor connectors ranges from 3A at 80°C for the signal connectors to 10A at 80°C for the power connectors, with maximum voltages of 48VAC and 630VAC, respectively.

The Cm2 Series connectors feature a contact resistance of less than 10Mohm and an insulation resistance of more than 5000Mohm. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C. The connector meets IP65/IP67 ratings.

Typical pricing for the Cm2 servomotor connectors ranges from $20.00 to $29.00 each in quantities of 500 to 5000 pieces. Lead time is from 8 to 10 weeks.
