SCHAUMBURG, IL – (January 14, 2008) – HEIDENHAIN's ECI/EQI 1300 series of inductive rotary encoders now has a 19-bit singleturn resolution version, providing better machine control performance than ever before. This is a result of the addition of a new ASIC. The ECI/EQI series also offers a multiturn encoder with a resolution of 31 bits.
Typical applications of these types of rotary encoders are in servo applications.
