ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Jan. 23, 2008 – Honeywell opened a new project services office in Anchorage, Alaska, for its Honeywell Process Solutions business. The office enables Honeywell to provide automation and control solutions to industrial customers, including oil, gas and refining customers, in Alaska.
Project management, controls and engineering will be executed from the office, which also includes a demonstration area that can be used for internal and external training. Honeywell solutions featured in the office will include the Experion Process Knowledge System, Honeywell’s system for process, business and asset management, Safety Manager, a safety management system that enhances process safety and protects plant assets, and other third-party integrated products.
Honeywell Process Solutions is a strong component of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business group. The company improves business performance for customers with automation and control solutions, equipment and services that enhance safety, reliability and efficiency. Based in Phoenix, Ariz., Honeywell Process Solutions has more than 30 years of experience serving the process and hybrid industries, including refining; oil and gas; pulp and paper; power generation; chemicals; petrochemicals; life sciences; and metals, minerals and mining.
