William Frick releases CR80 RFID Security Access Cards
Libertyville, IL – February 18, 2008 - Designed to be worn next to the human body and offering read ranges of up to 12 ft., SmartMark RFID Badges and Tags help take security at critical installations to a new high. Incorporating UHF RFID technology, the CR80 Security Access Cards transmit critical data, verify identity and can be used throughout high-security facilities.

"In order to control access to areas within facilities and gain visibility about personnel movement with long-range readers, a more sophisticated RFID system is required," Jeff Brandt, Executive Vice President of the Libertyville, IL-based company, explained. "SmartMark UHF employee security badges use portals that read from longer ranges and with fewer errors than the traditional HF readers."

Perfect for use at nuclear plants or anywhere tight security is necessary, the ID cards can be pre-printed and encoded or created on-site with an RFID printer. Their long read ranges eliminate errors and allow the use of unobtrusive RFID portals instead of more traditional card readers. And, since they are members of the SmartMark series, they are durable and reliable - even in harsh environments like power plants, military bases or factory floors.
Durable RFID For Any Environment

With solutions custom designed for asset tracking, compliance labeling and retail applications, the SmartMark series includes RFID tags for almost any application. Offering a wide variety of form factors, shapes and inlay options, they provide a reliable way to capture critical data in almost any environment. The newest tags offer the promise of improved efficiency and tighter security at US ports, airports, and rail yards. Rapid prototyping is available.
