METTLER TOLEDO introduces InTrac785 retractable sensor housing
April 7, 2008 - The InTrac785 retractable housing is the easy way of getting access to the sensor without process interruption. Whenever maintenance on the sensor is required, a simple retraction of the sensor and closing the ball valve allows fast sensor operation.

The housing is specially designed for harsh chemical applications. It is available in different materials for medium wetted parts. This ensures reliable operation even in demanding chemical, petrochemical and pulp and paper applications. The housing can handle pH, oxygen and turbidity sensors.

The InTrac785 allows a wide range of installation possibilities, thanks to the long insertion length (220mm/8.66 inches) and a wide variety of process connections. If the ball valve is already present or a factory standard needs to be used, this housing is also available without ball valve and process connection.

Key benefits of the InTrac785 housing are:
  • High operational safety
because of the ball valve for process sealing
  • Ease of use
because of the T-handle, no tool is required for daily operation and to get sensor access
  • Wide range of installation options
because of the long insertion length with variable insertion adjustment
  • Increased production uptime
because of the durable design for harsh environment
  • Flexibility in maintenance intervals
because of sensor access during running process
  • Smooth operation even if medium contains high fibers concentration
because of open design of the protective cage and the ball valve
