IMI Sensors names Doug Eberhart Business Development Manager
April 9, 2008, Depew, NY, USA – The IMI Sensors division of PCB Piezotronics (PCB) appointed Doug Eberhart, a 25-year veteran of the industrial vibration monitoring market, as IMI Sensors International Sales Manager, overseeing the growth and development of new and existing sales channels.
Doug brings to PCB decades of global sales and business development experience in the industrial machinery condition monitoring marketplace, as well as a unique background of having worked for both sensor and instrumentation manufacturers and representatives, as well as establishing and servicing large multi-million dollar OEM and factory direct accounts. Prior to joining PCB, he served in a number of progressive leadership roles at Accutech Instrumentation Solutions, FCx Performance and IRD Mechanalysis. He has spent a dozen years of his career establishing, training and supporting a results-oriented International Sales & Service network for multiple instrumentation companies, and supporting more than 40 independent representative companies.
The IMI Sensors division of PCB manufactures industrial accelerometers and vibration sensors, 4-20 mA vibration transmitters, smart vibration switches, bearing fault detectors, reciprocating machinery protectors and related accessories for predictive maintenance, equipment protection, condition monitoring and machinery vibration analysis. The sensors are used to monitor bearings, gears, motors, spindles and other rotating machinery in harsh factory environments.
