April 21, 2008 - SIXNET announces that the Slim Line series of truly industrial Ethernet switches is now available with up to four fast Ethernet (100 Mb) fiber optic ports. These fiber ports are available with multimode, singlemode, long-haul (for noise-immune links up to 120 km), or other special applications transceivers. The connector style is your choice of SC or ST.
The SL-8MS (managed) and SL-8ES (unmanaged) switches feature a compact and slim package design making them ideal for DIN rail or direct panel mounting in any application. These compact Slim Line switches feature the ultra-reliability and industrial ruggedness synonymous with all SIXNET products.
