April 21, 2008 - Wixom, MI: Acromag has opened a new international office located near Zurich, Switzerland. The new European office is headed by Stefan Baginski, Sales Representative EMEA Region, who brings a wealth of engineering and marketing experience in embedded computing technologies and numerous industries including defense, aerospace, manufacturing, scientific research, and telecommunication. Acromags new Swiss office will provide support for existing sales channels in Europe, but will also be able to provide direct technical support throughout the EMEA market. Acromag Europe will be available to assist customers in projects from development to production of complex systems and their solutions.
Mr. Baginski has served as an engineer, project manager, sales director, and marketing consultant for a variety of high-technology firms. Able to communicate in eight languages, he is fluent in English, German, Russian, and Polish; competent in French and Czech; and has basic skills in Swedish and Italian. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering Science from the University of Breslau and a variety of professional certifications. Membership affiliations include Association of Professional Engineers, Verein Deutsche Ingenieure, American Management Association, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Computer & Automated Systems Association, Royal Engineering Society of Sweden, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and Robotics International of SME.
