About igus® – Plastics for longer life®
igus® develops industry-leading Energy Chain® cable carriers, Chainflex® continuous-flex cables, iglide® plastic bushings, igubal® spherical bearings, and DryLin® linear bearings and guide systems. These seemingly unrelated products are linked together through a belief in making functionally advanced, yet affordable plastic components and assemblies. With plastic bearing experience since 1964, cable carrier experience since 1971 and continuous-flex cable since 1989, igus® provides the right solution based on 70,000 products available from stock. Products
Energy Chain® cable carriers are all-plastic cable carriers that guide, protect and extend the service life of cables and hoses attached to automated machinery, primarily in mobile applications.
Chainflex® continuous-flex cables deliver optimal performance in demanding, flexing applications on all types of automated machinery. They have been tested over millions of cycles in all types of conditions in the igus® test laboratories.
iglide® plastic bushings are self-lubricating and maintenance-free. They have been tested thousands of times and proven millions of times in many different environments and applications.
DryLin® is a range of maintenance-free, low-cost linear bearings, guides, slide tables and related components. They operate on oil-free glide pads - unlike recirculating ball bearing systems.
igubal® spherical bearings are self-aligning bearing components made entirely from high-performance plastics. They are self-lubricating, maintenance-free and available in various designs and configurations: rod ends, clevis joints, flange bearings, pivot bearings and pillow blocks.
