August 15, 2006 - Carlisle, Pa - ASIUKH series high current terminal blocks are for applications that require terminating wire as large as 500 MCM and handle as much as 380 amps at 600 volts. Because the ASIUKH terminal blocks are fully enclosed, users do not need to purchase additional end covers. The high quality ASIUKH terminal blocks are constructed with high-tensile steel metal bodies in order to handle the high clamping pressures that are required for a quality connection. With a broad range of accessories such as jumpers and markers, the ASIUKH series is ideal for all high current applications where easy to make, touch-proof terminations are required. The ASI high current terminal blocks are part of a new line of Phoenix Contact Equivalent terminal blocks.

These blocks are identical in color, design, dimensions, materials and specifications. Customers now have a true “equivalent” source and can save 30% to 50% and more by specifying the new equivalent terminal blocks and accessories. On the website there is a complete electronic cross-reference to Phoenix Contact, Weidmuller and Allen-Bradley along with prices and specifications. In addition, ASI provides rail assembly services to those companies that would prefer to purchase a fully completed assembly. The EZ Rail software program on the website assists the customer in developing a DIN rail terminal block assembly.
