DFI Inc. Earns Certification as Qualified Manufacturer to IPC QML

DFI announced that it has been awarded an IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) by IPC’s Validation Services Program under the on-site audit guidance. DFI has passed the examination of acceptance of the technological process and product for IPC J-STD-001’s Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610’s Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, and earned IPC’s highest QML certification level for all three standards. DFI has been honorably included into the IPC validation repository. IPC QML/QPL validation is a program based on IPC standards, which provides validation and certification of product quality and production technology for companies in electronic industry chain. The production technology and product quality of DFI have met or exceeded the testing requirements for the most widely used electronic building brick standards in the industry for level-3 product. Which means DFI produces electronic building bricks with high reliability and consistency. Therefore, as an excellent practice model, DFI has been included into the IPC QML/QPL validation repository, and can be searched for here: www.ipcvalidation.org “We are honored to be the first company in Taiwan to provide embedded computing solutions certified under the IPC QML Validation program,” said Oskar Wu, DFI’s Senior Manager, Product Planning Division. “This certification not only recognizes our professional competence, but also represents our commitment on providing quality products and services to our customers.” "Different from other audit programs, IPC's Validation Services Program uniquely provides technical and in-depth assessments of products and processes in accordance with IPC standards," said Randy Cherry, IPC director of Validation Services.
