Lanner introduces HMB-6100 CPU blade for the HTCA product line

November 19, 2019 - Lanner introduced its latest compute blade HMB-6100, empowered by 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors with Intel C621 Series PCH, and RRC 100GbE Ethernet controller. HMB-6100, designed to HybridTCA compute specifications, is compatible with Lanner’s x86 HTCA-6000 series network appliances to boost data center performances, bandwidth and connectivity for telecom applications.
The HMB-6100 is a CPU blade for the HTCA product line powered by 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors with Intel®C621 Series Chipsets, formerly Cascade Lake (Purley Refresh and Lewisburg). With 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs, HMB-6100 will work to boost data center capability in network virtualization, mobile application workloads and higher scalability to enable 5G-ready networks.
