Messe Frankfurt India announces Smart Industry Solutions India show

May 18, 2017 - Expanding its presence in the manufacturing and technology sectors, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India announced the launch of Smart Industry Solutions India from 13 – 15 December 2017 in Mumbai. Targeting end-to-end solutions that will address the needs of smart manufacturing, this new exhibition format will cover future factory, automation systems, technology and solutions, as well as hydraulics & pneumatics.
While Smart Industry Solutions India will cover the realm of Industry 4.0 – where futuristic innovations in engineering are expected to change the shop floor, SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India fairs will be presented in a new avatar to cover automation systems, technology and solutions under this umbrella.
India is seeking technology partners to accelerate domestic manufacturing and improve their technology infrastructure. With the government‘s impetus on developing industrial corridors and smart cities along with rolling out major programmes such as “Make in India”, “Digital India” etc, there is a sharp innovation and technology led movement in the country.
The national manufacturing policy is another step towards development of manufacturing industry. Vertical specific initiatives are being put in place by the government to enhance sector wise growth and production capacities in automotive, F&B, electricals and electronics, packaging, plastics and rubber, chemicals etc. Targeting the automation and smart manufacturing needs across these core sectors, Smart Industry Solutions India will prepare the country for the next stage of industrial revolution.
The trade fair, also comprising a conference, will cover a diverse mix of subjects, services and solutions in order to meet India’s demand as one of the fastest growing markets for automation smart manufacturing solutions in the world. The organiser also believes that the new format will redefine the existing technology fairs – SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India and benefit the exhibitors by bringing a larger and more targeted participation from diverse visitor segments.
Strategically scheduled in the commercial capital of the country, the combined exhibition and conference format is expected to attract a strong network of trade visitors and business leadership for knowledge and technology exchange.
