August 22, 2016 — ODVA, the organization that manages the EtherNet/IP technology, will conduct training courses this fall to benefit participants in the industrial automation ecosystem. Registration is now open for these one-day courses.

“EtherNet/IP Quick Start for Vendors”
This session helps product manufacturers in the process of developing an EtherNet/IP device bring their products to market quickly.

October 19, Crowne Plaza Detroit-Novi, Novi, Michigan

“EtherNet/IP: Industrial Ethernet for the Internet of Things”
This session focuses on EtherNet/IP’s business and technical value to end users and equipment manufacturers seeking solutions to automation challenges. Topics include how EtherNet/IP’s network services, peer-to-peer architecture and standards-based approach ease integration of data from the plant floor to the enterprise. Other topics include distinctive services for functional safety, distributed motion, time synchronization, energy management, and cybersecurity.
