Sercos International introduces Klaus Weyer as Managing Director

April 16, 2019 - Klaus Weyer was appointed as the new Managing Director of Sercos International e.V. at the beginning of April and is responsible for the coordination of worldwide activities regarding the Sercos automation bus. He succeeds Peter Lutz, who has been managing the organization since 2001.
After completing his studies in information technology at the University of Applied Sciences Schweinfurt, Klaus Weyer spent more than 12 years working for Bosch Rexroth AG in the field of servo hydraulics as an application and sales engineer, and as head of development for digital automation. In 1991 he moved to Elau AG, where he was Head of Development and Product Marketing until 1998. The market launch of the Sercos-based PacDrive M automation system also fell into this period. He then took over the management of product and communication marketing and until recently worked as marketing director for high-performance automation solutions at Schneider Electric.
