2nd Edition of Electric Automation America Announced for Spring 2007

September 122005
Rosemont (Chicago), IL: The 2nd edition of Electric Automation America (EAA), the North American trade event focused on drives, motion, controls and automation technologies for industrial applications, has been announced for the spring of 2007. The inaugural EAA held May 23-25, 2005 in Rosemont attracted 91 exhibitors and 1,305 attendees from 14 countries. The turn out for the extensive seminar program and Roundtable Discussions with international experts was excellent.

Following research and extensive consultation with exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, industry partners, and the Conference Advisory Council on the best possible format for the next show, Messe Frankfurt, Inc. announced that the next event will be held in the spring of 2007. While the second EAA had originally been planned for 2006, the majority of exhibitors, attendees and sponsors felt that an early 2007 date in the Chicago area would be the preferred choice.

The new date will provide the opportunity to secure the date and location options preferred by the show’s supporters. Additionally, there will be more time for intensified marketing activities and the strengthening of industry partnerships. The new time frame also allows the Conference Advisory Council a longer time period to develop compelling topics and attract speakers that will further strengthen the Conference Program as an integral part of the show experience. The seminars held in conjunction with the inaugural EAA in May of this year, were widely applauded and judged a success.
