July 11, 2013 -- An eight-page full-color leaflet from ABB Measurement Products summarizes the key features and benefits of the company's ProcessMaster FEP300 and FEP500 electomagnetic flowmeters. The leaflet provides data on nominal diameter and pressure ratings, as well as linings, fluid temperatures, and I/O. The leaflet notes that the flowmeters come standard with HART communications; Profibus and Foundation Fieldbus are optional. A verification tool called ScanMaster can check the integrity of measurements.
The leaflet next distinguishes between the basic functionality of the FEP300 and the advanced capabilities of the FEP500. Advanced functions include additional diagnostics, meter "fingerprints," grounding checks, dual ranges, and trending. The leaflet continues by adding details on communications, diagnostics, and verification capabilities.
