Allen-Bradley Customers Receive Same-Day Delivery on Configured NEMA Products
MILWAUKEE, August 22, 2005 — Electrical contractors, end users and industrial maintenance professionals can now have quick access to build-to-order NEMA products through the Allen-Bradley ModCenter Plus Distributor Program which provides Internet configuration software to assist distributors. The program speeds product delivery to customers by certifying authorized Allen-Bradley distributors to modify basic industrial components such as relays, combination starters, non-combination starters and push buttons to meet customers’ requirements.

“Whether the component is standard or build-to-order, the sooner customers have the products they need, the faster they can use them and keep their facility operating,” said Dave Pelzek, marketing manager, Rockwell Automation. “Now, with the ModCenter Plus program, our distributors are better equipped to meet customers’ demands locally.”

While product availability varies by individual distributor locations, the following Allen-Bradley products are available through the ModCenter Plus program: combination starters, open type and non-combination starters, pump control panels, push buttons, industrial relays and assembled push button stations. Customers gain the following key benefits through certified, Allen-Bradley ModCenter Plus Distributors:
  • Build-to-Order — Distributors configure and build product locally to meet immediate needs and specifications;
  • Flexibility — Distributors configure standard components locally to create unique catalog numbers and products; and
  • Fast Delivery — Same-day delivery is available locally on most configured NEMA products.
