Bosch Rexroth Announces Redesigned Aluminum Framing e-Commerce Web Site
Bosch Rexroth’s Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies group has re-designed its Aluminum Framing e-Commerce Web site to improve the user’s experience. “We’ve listened to our customers’ suggestions and have enhanced the existing site to be faster, easier and more secure,“ said Kevin Gingerich, marketing manager. “Now the parts and information our customers need from our aluminum framing product offering are just a few clicks away, and the orders are still supplied by Rexroth framing distributors for the best combination of online convenience and local service and support.“

The new homepage at www.boschrexroth-us.com/framingshop provides improved navigation, a Web Specials box and a new Shopping Cart panel for cart total, clear cart and checkout. Left-hand navigation is now a drill down menu of the entire product catalog with metric and inch products clearly separated. Three main links in the center of the homepage allow the user to browse the online catalog, view Rexroth’s 24-hour delivery program or view the Aluminum Framing Catalog with downloadable pdfs of the entire catalog as well as individual sections. Also, more comprehensive product pages now include dimensional drawings, product features, machining and material, which more closely resemble actual product catalog pages.

Another new feature, the Workstation Builder, allows a customer to select a Rexroth ergonomic workstation and configure it with options and accessories. This is the first of four application specific configuration pages to be offered.

Additional updates and improvements to the Aluminum Framing e-Commerce Web site include:
  • New and improved menu-driven navigation with clear, detailed pictures and descriptive categories
  • Quick Order, which allows insertion of 10 items into the cart at one time for customers who already know the products they need
  • Part numbers that coincide with the new 4.0 version of the Aluminum Framing Catalog
  • Increased security
  • Accepts parts lists from MGEsoft to provide list prices for structures drawn using Rexroth's FMSsoft
  • Access to more info without registration (only pricing requires log-in)
Further enhancements to the site are planned, such as an online configuator that will allow customers to plan, layout and design structures in 3-D. For more information, visit
