BRIC Awarded 3-year Contract with CTC / US Air Force for Robotic Laser Coating Removal Platform

Oshawa ---- BRIC Engineered Systems Limited is pleased to announce it has been awarded a 3-year contract with Concurrent Technologies Corporation / US Air Force for the development of a Robotic Laser Coating Removal Platform to remove paint and other coatings from aircraft structures. This effort is part of an environmental initiative to reduce or eliminate the toxic chemicals currently in use for coating removal applications. BRIC was selected in part because of it’s unique SnakeARM Robot design and extensive experience and expertise in the area of large Robotic Systems.

BRIC designs and manufactures robotic systems and workcells for industrial and defense applications. BRIC products include gantry robots, spray robots, custom machines and custom workcells for a wide range of applications that include material handling, coating, welding, degating, assembly and processing.
