Christensen Display Announces more Touch Screen Options
Durable NFI Technology adds to already extensive product line
Seattle, WA. January 2003: Christensen Display Products is pleased to announce a major extension to their family of industrial flat panel monitors. Near Field Imaging (or NFI) touchscreen technology components from 3M/Dynapro are now available integrated into most of the Christensen product family. This includes all bezel configurations and the recently released Class I Division 2 rated products.

“The NFI capacitive technology offers several advantages” comments Rick Tomfohrde of Christensen Display. “It offers enhanced durability beyond that of traditional capacitive touchscreens, and also can be used with most any stylus or gloved hand”.

The line extension includes 28 new part numbers. Available in both clear and antiglare finish, the NFI based touchscreen monitors are mechanically identical to the standard and resistive touchscreen based products. They are available now from many full line industrial automation distributors or the manufacturer.

Christensen Display Products, located in the Seattle area, designs and manufactures high performance flat panel monitors for the industrial automation, process control, and other markets. Their products are sold under their own and other brand names.
