Commtest opens office in Beijing
Knoxville, TN – July 30, 2007 - Commtest Instruments Ltd. opened a representative office in the booming technology-hub of Beijing, China. Commtest will use the new office to provide sales and technical support for the greater Chinese region, and as the lynchpin for its planned expansion into the lucrative Chinese market.

The facility's official opening ceremony was the focal point of a day of celebrations that included a traditional Chinese Lion Dance and the official press unveiling of the company's new vb7 vibration analysis instrument by Commtest Chief Product Architect Nigel Leigh. The spectacular ceremony was followed by a formal dinner at the New Zealand Ambassador's residence with over 100 guests, including the New Zealand Ambassador to China, Tony Browne, and Commtest Instruments Chairman Jack Henderson, in attendance.

To complement the new Beijing distribution and support center, Commtest has revealed its intention to offer instruments specifically designed for the local Chinese market, incorporating full Simplified Chinese text support, beginning with their newest vb7 instrument; the first of the new vbX range of portable vibration analyzers.

Daily operations and management of the Beijing office will be overseen by Commtest's Chinese National Manager, Tommy Ren.
