Danfoss Drives SyncPos Option Helps Provide Servo-Like Performance at Half the Cost
LOVES PARK, IL -- Danfoss Drives VLT® 5000 FLUX Series drives are now available with an optional SyncPos control card for additional positioning and synchronizing control. The SyncPos control card is programmable to suit specific application requirements, greatly enhancing drive operation without requiring extra panel space or wiring. A combination of the VLT 5000 FLUX Series drive and SyncPos option provides servo-like performance at only 50-75% the cost of a typical servo system.

VLT® 5000 FLUX Series drives provide dynamic flux vector control for applications up to 500 HP, and are designed with the latest Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to fulfill the high performance market for closed loop AC drives. These drives are ideally suited for applications requiring precise closed loop control, including hoisting, precise positioning, elevators, centrifuges, and torque control applications, among others.

Danfoss Drives is a leading global producer of precision mechanical and electrical components, with locations in more than 120 countries. Danfoss created the VLTÒ name when they introduced the world’s first mass-produced AFD in 1968, and the name has set the standard for quality adjustable frequency drives ever since.
