Ethernet Direct obtains UL 508 approvals on Industrial Ethernet Switches
UL 508 pertains to UL safety for Industrial Control Equipment which is used extensively in industrial applications. Industrial Control Equipment is required to be designed, built and evaluated for their function and safety in compliance with an established National / International standard. Several models of Ethernet Direct Industrial Ethernet devices are compliant with UL 508 which covers the requirements for:

Having UL 508 certification maintains the level of safety in a product that involves a risk of fire or of electric shock or injury to persons. Selected Husky HMG & HME series Industrial Ethernet switches and Cobra CUE series Industrial Power over Ethernet switches now comply with UL 508. More products are continuously being certified.
