Fluke announces Fluke Connect Student Contest
October 5, 2015 - Fluke invites students enrolled in two and four year colleges, universities, trade/tech schools, and apprenticeship programs in the United States to demonstrate their skills and innovation in the 2015 Fluke Connect Student Contest. The first place team and their advisor will receive an all-expenses paid trip to visit Fluke Park for three days and two nights plus $3,500 worth of Fluke tools for the school’s department.
To enter, student teams select an advisor who is a member of the Fluke educators program and design a project that uses the Fluke Connect wireless system to improve operations for a facility or client. Applications and business cases are due by November 6th. A panel of judges will select five teams to compete, each of which will receive up to ten Fluke Connect tools plus Fluke Connect software to implement their project. The teams have three months to make their projects work and submit their final reports, including photos and video. Winners will be decided 75 percent by the panel and 25 percent by crowd vote. Winners will be announced the week of February 22, 2016.
Fluke Connect — the industry’s largest system of software and more than 30 wireless test tools — allows technicians to record and store measurements then combine measurement data from multiple Fluke Connect test tools to create and share reports from the job site via email and collaborate in real time with other colleagues with ShareLive video calls, increasing productivity in the field.
Applications and business cases are due by midnight Pacific Time November 6th.
